Why 5+?
1: Each member starts with a certain number of points.
Upon joining, each mentor starts off with the predetermined points. These points are to be used to give to a mentor in exchange for mentoring session. Depending upon your age group. The following is the recommended ratio of how much time to spend in mentoring versus receiving mentorship.
2: Mentor gains points by sharing knowledge.
Minimum of 250 per mentor for each session. However, a mentor can decide to lower the points or waive them.
3: Mentee and mentor agree on number of points per meeting.
4: Every individual earns points by sharing knowledge
If you don’t have enough points earned through mentoring, others. Your mentors can help you by using your points earned through social causes or by helping other organizations to be considered for The 5+ foundation donation of the equivalent charities of your choice
5: Once certain benchmark is reached, 5+
provides monetary fund for causes
of individual’s choice
